Another Year Older🎈🎈

On this day 56 years ago I was born in Cape Town, South Africa.

Yikes, I have been on this planet for more than half a century🙄

Today I went to Messilini Cave, but to be honest, I was underimpresed!

Had lunch at Fiskardo, coffee in Assos, and saw Myrtos Beach (which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

I also learned a lot of the island’s history from the very informative tour guide.

In 1953 most of Kefalonia was completely destroyed by earthquake😪.

Now anything that is built, by law has to be able to withstand 8 on the richter scale.

I also found out that Captain Corelli,s Mandolin was a true story.

    I love your photo – what a spectaculeur sight! It’s interesting to know a bit about the history of Kefalonia. I had no idea that Captain Corelli’s Mandarin was a true story, either. I loved that film.
