Naked

Vulnerable

I stand before you.

Does my nakedness scare you a little?

Comfortable, I

exhibit my scars

They are part of me.

Born from every battle fought.

Shall I pretend they do not exist?

Do you choose not to see my pain?

Then walk away and leave me to bleed.

I stand naked before you.

I choose not to remove my clothes.

That is not naked to me.

Being naked

is brave.

It is truth, and it is courage.

But it can never be what you choose not to see.

Naked is showing

you, my soul.

And knowing you may look away in disdain.

I will always choose to do so anyway.

Because these scars are my strength

my pain is my power.

I choose to be naked.

I will not cower.

  1. I don’t know. A naked woman isn’t hiding anything. When we can walk freely nude in front of someone. We are showing our skin. Now the scary part. Is a woman mind. If a woman allowed you in. You will know the mystery of all things.
