The Moon
a celestial beacon of light
bringing hope.
A torch that lights up the sky,
a star to make a wish upon.
A flame that never dies.
The night holds all these things as we dream.
But for many, it brings monsters as they scream.
Too afraid to close their eyes
for fear of what
their subconscious may find
in the night.
Walking the line
a tightrope between darkness and light.
