(written November 2022)

I swam for miles and trawled the murky depths of the ocean.
I was hoping to find remnants of me, the person I used to be.
All I could see were ghosts washed out to sea.
I swam back to the shore.
I gazed up at the sky as if expecting to find myself there.
Only echoes hung in the air.
I travelled through space and time, trying to find myself somewhere.
The landscape was the same, but nothing of me remained.
Now I am standing on the edge of nowhere, waiting for my return.

Wonderful poem.
David brought me here, and I’m so glad he did.
