Nirvana

Nirvana has a panoramic view.

I zoom in with my lens

surveying the world

I have left behind.

Nothing has changed.

They are still blind.

Ignorant to the suffering and pain of their fellow man.

One day they may realise there is more to life than appears in their field of vision.

But for now, they are so consumed with derision

with no compassion in their veins.

And I have no wish to return to a place where I don’t belong.

In Nirvana

I am free.
