Tracks

(Written February 2023)

Train wrecks of the past.

We stand on the tracks.

Looking

back at the stations with different names.

But each one is the same.

Full of memories that have no place in “today”.

Don’t buy a return ticket to pain, heartache or rejection.

The view will never change.

Leave the passengers and wreckage behind.

Change the tracks of your life.

And take the scenic route next time.
