Labels

Labels distinguish one thing from another.
But people are not “things”.
So why stick a label on me, her, or him?
We are all unique and special in our way.
From the colour of our eyes and the way we speak.
We are not “things” to be placed in the washing machine on “rinse” and “repeat”.
Treat everyone with kindness.
Don’t base your opinions on what you see.
For eyes only scratch the surface of one’s physique.
Dive below the skin and wade through the toxins that lie underneath.
Then you will find the true essence of a person’s character.
Not the false “label” or manufacturer of what you might believe.
