The Silence of the Lambs

Sleeping beauty lies between silken sheets in a castle high atop the hills.

In her dreams, she sees a dark knight and wolves that run alongside him as he gallops through the forest on his steed.

Down in the valley in a field of green, lambs begin to bleat as if unsettled or scared.

As the dark knight approaches, the lambs are killed one by one by the wolves that they cannot outrun.

Outnumbered with no means of defence, each one dies from a bite to the neck.

When the sleeping beauty awakes, she finds herself draped in a coat made of wool, but there is blood on her hands, and all she can hear is the silence of the lambs.
