Beneath the veil, secrets unseen.

A skin of pale tears wept.

The mask she wears is not for disguise.

She has no pretense.

Beneath the veil, she hides her lament.

Who would wish to gaze upon her face stained with salty grains?

Beneath the veil lies her pain.
