Weeping Willow

Once filled with rose bushes and buzzing bees, this garden is now overgrown with weeds.

Only one tree remains.

It stands alone,

hoping for some relief from its sorrow.

Surrounded by blackened dahlias and rotting apples, the weeping willow looks all around, but it seems there is no joy in sight.

It wants to blossom and grow as it did before the darkness came.

No sun or light ever shines upon it as it cries tears of pain,

a weeping willow alone in the rain.
