My last visit to Paris was in 2018 for my birthday.
Of course, January is completely different weather wise to May 😉, but I was prepared for that.
I like to be organised, so booked my metro tickets and tours beforehand.
Notre Dame was the first tour to be cancelled🙄.Of course we know that is in the process of being restored after the fire😪.But the tour was for the crypt, and emergency repairs are needed.
I was meant to be going to Versailles tomorrow.The last time I was there I queued for 2 hours.My feet got sunburnt and I did not see half of it.
Today I learn from my hotel receptionist that there is a national strike on🙄.Being a non-driver and relying on the metro for transportation, I cannot get to the meeting point.
My finger,s are now crossed for Friday as I am due to go to the Catacombs, (the last time I was here, they were on strike).
Is Mercury still in Retrograde ? 😆
