Excess Baggage

(my own words)

We all come with excess baggage.

The dirt and grime we have absorbed on our journey through life.

A failed marriage, a break up or divorce.

Anything can set our lives on a different course.

That does not make us a bad person.

It was simply a lesson on how hard life can be.

No one gets an easy ride, and no one gets out alive.

But excess baggage weighs you down.

Like dragging a suitcase full of bricks.

Imagine finding someone willing to help you unpack.

Without turning their back on the chaos another person left behind.

Who wants to lift the rocks to find the diamond that lies underneath?

Excess baggage always comes at a price.

Love is not blind.

So make sure you travel light .
