Love is a ghost, cold and unmoving.
A shadow in the dark sent to deceive my heart.
Love is a ghost.
By night, she haunts me,
leading me to the past with melancholy.
She is a mere figment of my imagination, for love has never been anything except a bad dream.
Only a thing to have but never hold or keep.
