Angel

This is a very old poem !

I am unsure when I wrote it.

I usually give it to someone if they are grieving.

“Angel”

Don’t look for me in a crowd.

You will not find me there.

I am the wind in the trees.

I am the subtle scent that lingers in the air.

I am the butterfly that flutters by, then lands upon a flower.

I am the rainbow in the sky so bright and full of colour.

I walk beside you every day to make sure you are safe.

I am the light in the dark when the world is closing in.

I am your angel and always will be until we meet again.
