Once upon a Time
Spurred on by the fact that I had actually managed to self-publish a book, in August of 2021, I released another collection.
Maybe it was too soon, maybe I should have been concentrating on the quality of my writing?
Hindsight, as they say, is a wonderful thing!
If you have bought any of my books, or read my work on social media, you will know, it is a very eclectic mix.
In both of my first two collections, I also added some humour, because I never want the book to be entirely sombre!
There are references again to mental health, and the person I was grieving for.
It is very much a women’s book and many of the poems relate to my own struggles!
Shooting myself in the foot for the second time ( lol ), for me there are only a few decent ones.
I am much prouder of my writing now.
But, I tried!
